BaquaSpa® Water Care Guide
Caring for your spa with BaquaSpa® couldn't be easier.
Follow your normal housekeeping routine, and just once a week, do the following:
- Add the appropriate amount of BaquaSpa® Waterline Control and BaquaSpa® Oxidizer
- Use BaquaSpa® water test strips to test the BaquaSpa® Sanitizer with Stain & Scale
- Control and pH levels, adjust if necessary
That's it—you're done. No more daily testing and dosing required.
The BaquaSpa® Water Care System also puts extra relaxation into your life by controlling bacteria longer than bromine or chlorine, so you use it less often. It doesn't affect pH levels, either, so you'll do less testing and water balancing.
Directions for BaquaSpa® initial fill
- Use BaquaSpa® Test Strips to check pH level
- Turn on jets to "High"
Adjust pH using pH Increaser or pH Decreaser (ideal pH for BaquaSpa® is around 7.2)- Once pH is balanced, add Calcium Hardness Increaser if needed (most water in the ArkLaTex is very soft and you will have to add several ounces of Calcium Hardness Increaser to get to 300 ppm)
- Once Calcium Hardness is adjusted, turn all of the jets to their lowest setting in order to prevent foaming
- Add the #1 BaquaSpa® Waterline Control according to the directions on the bottle
- Add the #2 BaquaSpa® Oxidizer according to the directions on the bottle
- Add the #3 BaquaSpa® Sanitizer w/ Stain & Scale Control according to the directions on the bottle
- You may use the spa immediately if you wish
- Perform these actions 1 time per week to maintain water quality
