Now the benefits of Brilliance® for spas are even more appealing with the addition of AquaEnhancers®—unique additives that enhance several products by conditioning spa water to promote a truly skin-soothing spa experience.
With the Brilliance® Spa Care System, you can take care of your hot tub in these easy steps:
- Brilliance® Metal & Scale Control with Soy Protein. A metal control agent used to deactivate metals and control scale, which can cause staining and affect water clarity and filtration. Contains soy protein to moisturize spa water for a luxurious spa experience.
- Brilliance® Oxidizer with Mineral Salts. Non-chlorine oxidizer treatment that eliminates odors and reduces irritating contaminants, to leave water sparkling clear. Also contains mineral salts, which disperse in the spa water to promote relaxation and soothe skin.
- Brilliance® Sanitizer. The principal chemical in the Brilliance product line, Brilliance Sanitizer is a concentrated source of active bromine. This 100% chlorine-free product dissolves slowly and evenly in spa floaters to provide continuous sanitization of your spa.
- The Mermaid Sanitizer Dispenser by Brilliance®. Pre-filled sanitizer dispenser that replaces a floater. Eliminates the need for manually dosing sanitizer. Fits neatly into the skimmer box or filtration area.
Directions for Brilliance® initial fill
- Use Brilliance® Test Strips to check pH level
- Turn on jets to "High"
- Adjust pH using pH Increaser or pH Decreaser (ideal pH for Brilliance® is around 7.4)
- Once pH is balanced, add Calcium Hardness Increaser if needed (most water in the ArkLaTex is very soft and you will have to add several ounces of Calcium Hardness Increaser to get to 300 ppm)
- Add Brilliance® Oxidizer according to the directions on the bottle
- Fill up the Brilliance® Floater and adjust the settings as recommended on the instruction pamphlet. If you are using the Brilliance® Mermaid Dispenser, set the dial as recommended in the instruction pamphlet and place it in the filter compartment
- You may use the spa immediately if you wish
- Check and adjust pH and Calcium Hardness levels 1 time per week to maintain water quality
