SilkBalance® Water Care Guide
Checking pH, alkalinity and calcium hardness will no longer be a routine requirement in maintaining your Hot Spring® Spa water chemistry. SilkBalance® eliminates the need for constant testing, measuring and balancing. No more confusion and time lost.
A 2 to 4 oz application of SilkBalance® and a dose of Enhanced Shock weekly is all you need to do for clean, luxurious water in your Hot Spring® Spa!
SilkBalance® will maintain a 220 to 500 gallon Hot Spring® Spa for 4 to 6 months with just one bottle. This revolutionary product eliminates buying & storing confusing multiples of different chemicals from chlorines, bromines, increasers and decreasers.
Directions for new Hot Spring® Spas
- Shake bottle of Silk Balance® to mix all ingredients
- Turn on all jets to "High"
- Pour 2 to 4 ounces into measuring cup (Silk Balance® lid)
- Add to spa water
- Add 2 ounces of Enhanced Shock to spa water
- Let spa run for 2 hours (the jet pumps will shut off automatically)
- Perform these actions 1 time per week to maintain water quality
Directions for converting a Hot Spring® Spa to SilkBalance®
- Turn on all jets to "High"
- Add 1 package of Clean Start to existing spa water
- Turn Smart Jet levers a quarter turn every 30 minutes to direct water through all plumbing
- Turn off jets and drain spa
Refill and follow Directions for New Hot Spring® Spas listed above.
